Eugen Elmiger New Company Spokesman.
Sachseln/OW. - Eugen Elmiger is the new spokesman for maxon motor ag. From January 1st, 2010 he will, by rotation order, take over from Armin Lederer who has held this office since 2007.
Since Jürgen Mayer, who was the CEO for many years, took over the Presidency of the Board of Directors, maxon motor decided to install a collective Board of Executives with a spokesman. The rotation principal with a periodically alternating spokesman perfectly fulfills maxon motor ag's demands on modern corporate governance, said President of the Board of Directors, Jürgen Mayer.
Eugen Elmiger has been with the drive specialist in Sachseln since 1991. The electro engineer started in the Swiss Sales Office and was later a Project Manager. At the end of the 1990s, Eugen Elmiger was a major force in building up and extending the sales network in Asia. Since 2006 he has been in the Board of Executives, responsible for Sales and Marketing.
The Board of Executives stays the same: Eugen Elmiger, Spokesman and Head of Sales and Marketing, Armin Lederer, Head of Operations, Dr. Ulrich Claessen, Head of Research and Development and Dr. Karl Walter Braun, Controlling.
